We would request that you attend the surgery if possible. Home visits are generally restricted to those who cannot come to the surgery under any circumstance that is, to genuinely housebound and the terminally ill.

For each visit the doctor makes, he is able to see on average, 6 patients in the surgery

If a home visit is required please telephone before 10:00.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
